STEP 1 - MEET REQUIREMENTS
Midtown Pet Retreat maintains certain requirements to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both pets and staff. Please note that it is best to administer vaccinations at least a few days before coming to Midtown Pet Retreat or any kennel. First, this gives the vaccination time to incubate and thus better protect your pet. Additionally, some pets may have negative reactions to vaccinations shortly after they are administered. We recommend having your vet fax or email vaccination records prior to your evaluation. You may also bring in a paper copy with you upon check-in.
Requirements for All Dogs:
+ Current on Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). Puppies must complete all rounds of vaccinations prior to staying with us. *Vaccines must be administered by a vet
+ At least 3 months old, although 4 months of age is encouraged for the health of your pet. Puppies are still developing their immune systems at an early age, thus there is a slightly higher risk factor for young puppies when boarding.
+ All dogs must be on a regular flea preventative.
+ Must not exhibit aggressive behavior towards people.
Requirements for All Cats:
+ Current on Rabies and FVRCP
+ All pets must be on a regular flea preventative.
